Just type your home or work postcode into the search box above to get a list of your local credit unions, links to their websites and a summary of the main products available. The Northern Money website will also list your local Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs). CDFIs offer affordable loans, but you don't need to be a member of a credit union to apply.

It serves to support its members by sharing best practice and collaborative approaches for the mutual benefit of the members. It receives no fee or commission for the services its provides.

A credit union is a financial co-operative which offers safe savings accounts and affordable loans to members. Credit unions are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. (the UK's financial services regulators).
